Community Manager Calendar 2023, +90 dates for your strategies

You have everything you need to begin the year 2023 like a rockstar: tools, programmes, execution plans, content ideas... But you are still missing that ace up your sleeve that will boost your marketing actions, and that is the community manager's calendar.

What community manager can work without a calendar at hand? Absolutely none. It's one of the must-haves for any creator, because without planning there's no strategy.

(This is what the digital marketing commandments we have just created dictate).

So if you want to keep up to date with the Law, it's time to take note of each of the following dates that you will see below... Or better yet, download the community manager calendar now so that you are never short of ideas:

How to create a community manager calendar?

The first step is to define your objective or purpose, why do you want to create a social media calendar? The answer may seem obvious, but not everyone has it.

Maybe you are an entrepreneur who wants to offer this template to your students, or you want to train community managers, or you are a digital marketer who needs to have at hand essential dates for your strategies and actions.

Do you see how establishing a clear purpose wasn't so easy to do?

1. Define your target audience

Once you have the functionality of the calendar clear, the next thing you have to do is defining the target audience you are going to address.

It's essential that you know who you are targeting, who is going to get their hands on the content you are about to create. We are almost certain that this advice is one of the most repeated in the school.

Because without anyone consuming what you're selling, your business or venture wouldn't exist. And when it comes to creating social media calendars, it's important that you take into account the niche or sector you belong to.

It's all about the fact that there are days of the year that you can either skip or include in your annual digital marketing planner.

For example, if you are a brand or venture related to the pet niche, ideally you should take into account dates such as Dog Day or Dachshund Day... both would be related to what you offer.

On the other hand, if you sell hair products, you'd have to think twice about what kind of content you'd put out for Nugget Day.

2. Create your objectives

At the school we have a very complete post about SMART goals. Without objectives, there would be no roadmap of what to do and what not to do.

With your goals in mind, you also have a clear idea of what you expect to achieve from each post and what are the best actions to take to reach those expectations.

3. Create templates with dates

If the week has 7 days, 7 days you will take into account, to analyse which dates can be important, even the resting days.

The templates will also help you to schedule the days for uploading content on social media or networks. Everything will depend on the frequency with which your consumers access your communities.

4. Select the dates calmly

If you are aware that your target audience belongs to all sectors or should create content for all sectors, then it's a wise decision to add all the dates that exist in the year, from those that are related to food to those that belong to the health sector.

Now, if your target audience is smaller, your calendar should be smaller.

At The Power Business School we know that our students can have clients from all sectors, which is why we have prepared our calendar as follows:

Reasons to use a content calendar for your digital media

Still, in the midst of 2023, there are people who don't use a marketing calendar to create content, not that it's a cardinal sin, but they are missing out on some opportunities for their business.

That's why we want to give you some extra reasons to use a social media calendar for your next digital media posts:

1. Because you'll save time

Success is not exactly a friend of clutter, in fact, it's quite the opposite.

We know that as creatives sometimes ideas can fly all over the place, and that can be reflected in the way you manage your spaces, both digital and physical.

That's why there are calendar templates that help you anticipate ideas. Because creating content and posting it on social media and then interacting with communities is definitely not an easy task, no matter how much some marketers want to portray it that way.

So if it's you against the world at the moment, YOU NEED a planner that will give you a global overview of what content you can incorporate into your accounts throughout the year.

2. Just because

Who wouldn't like to have some of a whole year's work ready from minute one? But here we have to digress. There are content trends that you may need to take advantage of at the moment, but you can have a margin of freedom to publish content on a regular basis, in case you want to complement the posts that already exist in your accounts or you want to give your communities a more relaxed feel. Especially for those moments when you publish content that has a lot to do with what you sell.

What kind of content are you going to create?

It's important that you know that not all dates are applicable for all the content you can create, it will be necessary that you evaluate day by day which festivities can correspond to your brand.

Although there are creative teams that manage to make the most of all ideas, the truth is that not all brands have the same personality or objectives.

So you have one more task to do in your business or venture this year, the good news is that this is just the beginning.

Let us know in the comments which date in the community manager's calendar we have not taken into account:
